For those local to Los Angeles and Orange County, I am sure you know what the term “Carmageddon” means. For those who are not locals here, it was a time when one of the major freeways that connects across the cities in Southern California was shut down for the entire weekend! For us locals, it was devastating news since everyone here drives. Oddly enough, “carmageddon” fell on the exact date as Julianne and Joesph’s wedding. What made things a bit more worrisome was that the wedding party had to drive from Langham (Pasadena) to London Hotel (West Hollywood). Julianne and Joseph took extra precaution and rented shuttles to drive all their wedding guests together instead of facing traffic alone. After all the preparations, fortunately there was no traffic when we traveled from one wedding venue to another! The scare of “Carmageddon” actually detoured a lot of locals from actually driving that day, which cleared everything up for their wedding. Overall, everything turned out swimmingly, but it was good to always prepare for the worst.
Julianne and her girls started bright and early at their family’s house in Pasadena with their makeup and hair while Joseph and his entourage enjoyed their breakfast and morning in Pasadena Langham. Once everyone was ready, their traditional Chinese tea ceremony commenced at their house in respect to fellow family members. Once that portion of the wedding ceremony was over, everyone trekked their way to London Hotel for their second wedding ceremony!
While the wedding hall was still in the process of decoration, the wedding party all headed out in and out of London Hotel for their wedding photography session! We took so many enduring and classy photos at the lobby of London Hotel then made our way out to the streets to spice up their wedding photos. Every shot throughout the photo session was picture perfect! Once the fun was over, we all had some spare time to catch our breaths, freshen up, and put our game faces for the wedding ceremony.
Julianne was such a beautiful sight as she walked elegantly down the aisle and Joseph’s face was absolutely priceless as he received his bride. After they exchanged vows, rings, and sealed the wedding ceremony with a kiss, Joseph had one more present for Julianne. At the hotel room, he strummed his guitar and sang her a song as a little surprise! With each verse, Julianne’s smile got bigger and tears of joy rolled down her face. What a romantic!
Of course our wedding party did not want to keep the rest of their guests waiting at the rooftop reception, we hurried up for Julianne and Joseph’s grand entrance after the song was over. One event after another and one speech after another, the party lasted all night long with so much love and laughter! Enough details! Sit back and enjoy their wedding photographs at London Hotel (Los Angeles – West Hollywood) yourselves.

…yes, this is how we calibrate our lights before the wedding ceremony. It is hilarious and highly effective at the same time.
A sweet wedding photo of their wedding rings in their delicious cupcake is a good way to wrap up the night!
Congratulations again on your wedding here at London Hotel West Hollywood, Julianne and Joseph! It was an honor to be your wedding photographers.
